Episode 08 - Traveling with Kids vs Remote Parenting

Grammy-Award® winner and "Queen of Soul" Deniece Williams joins us to chat about the challenges and rewards of traveling for work with her four kids in tow, the sacrifices she made, and how it all has been worth it in the end.

As a traveling professional, one of your biggest challenges is to make sure you can make it work for your family. It's not an easy task, but with the right planning, you can make it work. There are a lot of challenges about working remotely with kids in tow. The main challenge that I see is that you will never have full control over your work schedule. You are likely to miss some important events in your kid's life like your daughter's play, school events, and other activities. That's why some jobs are definitely not for everyone. But if you are willing to put up with the sacrifice, it's well worth it. If you are willing to put up with the sacrifices, remote parenting can be a game changer for you and your family.
